Terms &
Conditions.
Welcome to CLARA™. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the platform as a medical education service for patients, medical students, and healthcare professionals.
Last Updated: January 2026
Section 1Purpose of the Platform
CLARA™ is a medical education platform designed to serve patients seeking to understand their health, medical students building clinical reasoning skills, and healthcare professionals requiring evidence-based decision support.
The platform is intended to educate and assist — not to replace — professional medical advice, clinical judgment, or institutional treatment protocols.
Content provided through CLARA™ is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute a medical diagnosis or treatment recommendation.
Section 2User Eligibility & Roles
CLARA™ is accessible to three user groups: patients (individuals managing their personal health), medical students (enrolled in accredited programmes), and healthcare professionals (licensed clinicians and researchers).
Healthcare professionals using the clinical tier warrant that they hold all required credentials and that those credentials remain in good standing within their jurisdiction.
All users agree to use the platform only for its intended educational and support purposes. Misrepresentation of role or credentials is strictly prohibited.
Section 3Educational & Medical Disclaimer
The educational content, clinical reasoning guides, and decision-support outputs provided by CLARA™ are based on current evidence and programmed logic — they are not infallible.
Patients must always consult a qualified healthcare professional before acting on any health information obtained through the platform.
Healthcare professionals retain full clinical responsibility for every patient decision. CLARA™ supports but does not replace professional judgment.
Section 4User Responsibilities
All users agree to provide accurate information and to use the platform in good faith for lawful educational and health-management purposes.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Reverse-engineering, unauthorised extraction of platform logic, or redistribution of proprietary content is strictly prohibited.
Section 5Intellectual Property
All intellectual property — including proprietary algorithms, educational frameworks, clinical reasoning models, and trademarks — belongs to MetaMedMD.
Your use of CLARA™ grants a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence for personal educational and professional support purposes only.
Section 6Limitation of Liability
MetaMedMD shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from reliance on the platform's educational content or clinical support outputs.
Institutions deploying CLARA™ are responsible for ensuring it is integrated within their established clinical governance and educational frameworks.
Section 7Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes rests with the Irish courts.
